Responsibilities

• ▹Monitor and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS Redshift environments
• ▹Design and implement database maintenance and automation jobs (backup, restore, patching, indexing)
• ▹Manage data lifecycle, archiving, and purging
• ▹Optimize database performance (query tuning, index strategies, resource utilization)
• ▹Act as database subject-matter expert for MES systems
• ▹Enforce database security compliance and support audits
• ▹Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database projects
• ▹Participate in incident and problem management

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments
• ▹Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS Redshift
• ▹Solid understanding of building and optimizing SQL queries
• ▹Knowledge of database design, high availability, and disaster recovery
• ▹Performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
• ▹Understanding of backup and recovery strategies
• ▹Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• ▹Bachelor's degree in a related field

Nice to have

• ▹Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, SQL, Python)
