Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and deliver production agentic workflows: ambient background agents and interactive tool-using agents
• ▹Design LLM-powered content enrichments that feed customer reporting, alerts, and intelligence briefings
• ▹Lead technical direction for tool-augmented LLM systems, including MCP-compatible services, function-calling patterns, and multi-step reasoning workflows
• ▹Decide when to use retrieval, agents, fine-tuning, or a smaller model/classical NLP approach
• ▹Define structured prompting standards, output schemas, and reusable patterns for the engineering team
• ▹Set the standard for evaluating LLM systems: offline benchmarks, online experimentation, regression detection, human-in-the-loop review
• ▹Own guardrails for safety, hallucination reduction, factual grounding, and output consistency
• ▹Build observability into every LLM feature: tracing, cost tracking, latency budgets, quality metrics, drift monitoring
• ▹Evolve the embedding and semantic search infrastructure, including chunking strategies, hybrid search, and re-ranking
• ▹Partner with Product and UX; lead technical design discussions; mentor through code review
