Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop test plans, test cases, and QA documentation
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers on requirements and user stories
• ▹Define testing strategies for features, integrations, workflows, and regression coverage
• ▹Execute manual testing across functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-device scenarios
• ▹Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or Zephyr
• ▹Retest bug fixes and verify impacted areas after deployments
• ▹Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• ▹Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• ▹Conduct load, stress, and performance testing using JMeter or Locust
• ▹Support vulnerability scanning and security-focused testing
• ▹Track and report quality metrics such as defect density and pass/fail rates
• ▹Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, release reviews

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of professional QA or software testing experience
