Responsibilities

• ▹Implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, network peering, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• ▹Configure and administer routing tables for efficient network traffic management
• ▹Manage and optimize Azure resources, including compute, storage, and databases
• ▹Implement network security mechanisms, firewalls, and threat detection
• ▹Configure and monitor Azure Defender for Cloud
• ▹Monitor performance and security through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher
• ▹Configure and manage Azure Application Gateway, including listeners, backend pools, and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• ▹Support the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures
• ▹Create and manage Azure Policies and Initiatives to ensure governance and compliance
• ▹Develop automation processes for deployment and infrastructure management
• ▹Create scripts and workflows using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM Templates
• ▹Produce and maintain technical documentation on architecture, networking, and operational procedures

Requirements

• ▹Higher education degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent field
• ▹3-4 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure
• ▹Solid experience in Azure Networking
• ▹Advanced knowledge of Virtual Networks, VPN, subnetting, network peering, and NSGs
• ▹Experience with Azure Application Gateway and WAF
• ▹Knowledge of Azure Defender for Cloud
• ▹Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher
• ▹Knowledge of Azure Policies and Initiatives
• ▹Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM Templates
• ▹Knowledge of routing and network traffic management
• ▹Microsoft Azure certifications

Soft skills
