Responsibilities

• ▹Drive the technical delivery of CatalyX Blockchain Manager, contributing through implementation and code reviews
• ▹Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, setting the bar for code quality and delivery pace
• ▹Break down product and client requirements into technical tasks, estimates and sprint plans
• ▹Lead technical investigation and resolution of critical issues
• ▹Uphold engineering best practices throughout the SDLC
• ▹Drive effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of software engineering experience in a globally distributed environment
• ▹Proven experience leading development teams while remaining hands-on
• ▹Excellent programming skills in Java
• ▹Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns
• ▹Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• ▹Strong SQL skills, PostgreSQL
• ▹Experience with OAuth/OIDC: Keycloak, Auth0
• ▹DevOps skills: CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, observability
• ▹Solid understanding of networking fundamentals in distributed environments: TLS, DNS, load balancing
• ▹Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, with sound judgment on their use
• ▹Clear communication across engineers, architects and product stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with blockchain technologies such as Canton/Daml
• ▹Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
