Blockchain Developer (DAML)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, implement and maintain Canton-based applications using Daml
• ▹Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging on a Daml-based platform
• ▹Translate client requirements into technical specifications and develop Daml smart contracts
• ▹Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues
• ▹Develop documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
• ▹Mentor and guide other team members

Requirements

• ▹Upper-intermediate or higher English
• ▹Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• ▹Hands-on experience with DAML
• ▹5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in programming languages (e.g. Scala or Haskell)
• ▹Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their applications within the financial sector
• ▹Proficiency in relational database management systems and APIs
• ▹Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems
• ▹Experience using REST and gRPC for system integration

Nice to have

• ▹Good understanding of Canton public and private networks
• ▹Experience with functional programming
• ▹Knowledge of other blockchain protocols (EVM-based)
