Responsibilities

• ▹Being involved in all areas of delivery, mentoring and inspiring the development team
• ▹Taking ownership of your code from development to deployment and maintenance
• ▹Diagnosing production issues and devising solutions
• ▹Being an integral part of solutions design and implementation
• ▹Challenging business requirements to ensure the best possible outcome
• ▹Driving adoption of new technologies to deliver business value
• ▹Contributing to shaping the technology roadmap
• ▹Conducting technical interviews within your area of expertise

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 10 years of experience with Java, including the latest versions (17+)
• ▹Experience with popular web frameworks (Spring Boot/Cloud/Data Flow or Micronaut)
• ▹Cloud technology experience: Azure Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
• ▹Knowledge of architectural styles: microservices, web services, SOA, API protocols (GraphQL Federation, REST)
• ▹Monitoring and observability experience: OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace and similar tools
• ▹Proficiency with build tools: Gradle
• ▹Experience with unit testing, integration testing and TDD
• ▹Database experience: MongoDB, MySQL
• ▹Experience with ALM tools: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, NexusPro or similar
• ▹Knowledge of agile frameworks: Scrum/Kanban, user stories, BDD/TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, pair programming
• ▹Proficiency applying design patterns for scalable, maintainable solutions
• ▹Experience balancing technical priorities with business needs
• ▹Experience mentoring engineering teams
• ▹Fluency in English

Nice to have

• ▹Understanding of PIM/MDM platforms such as Stibo STEP
• ▹Background in e-commerce/retail
• ▹Kotlin experience for some projects
