Responsibilities

• ▹Lead implementation of challenging features across distributed architectures
• ▹Design software with built-in resilience and observability
• ▹Champion test automation, CI/CD and high code quality standards
• ▹Identify technical bottlenecks and contribute to cross-team architecture reviews
• ▹Translate complex scientific requirements into actionable engineering tasks
• ▹Collaborate with Product, Science and DevOps to define milestones
• ▹Lead root cause analysis for live incidents and implement structural solutions
• ▹Communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience, from cloud engineers to molecular biologists
• ▹Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• ▹Apply a bioinformatics or computational biology background to genomics and clinical data use cases
• ▹Protect sensitive biomedical data in line with GDPR, HIPAA and ISO27001 standards
• ▹Design biomedical knowledge graphs and semantic data models

Requirements

• ▹Experience with distributed systems, APIs and data services
• ▹Bioinformatics or computational biology background
• ▹Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA and ISO27001 compliance
• ▹Strong communication skills toward technical and non-technical stakeholders
