Responsibilities

• ▹Design, operate and secure the distributed event platform and service gateway
• ▹Maintain the stability of real-time data flows and cloud application connectivity
• ▹Provide support-type tasks

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience with AWS services, particularly deploying and managing containers via Amazon EKS
• ▹Advanced command of Apache Kafka and related components: Kafka Connect, Kafka REST Proxy, Kafka Schema Registry, ksqlDB
• ▹Experience administering clusters, configuring retention and compaction, traffic quotas and replication via Mirrormaker
• ▹Administration of Kong API Gateway (Kong Ingress-Controller, Konnect) in highly available, multi-region environments
• ▹Experience designing APIs to industry standards, using tools like SwaggerHub
• ▹Knowledge of load balancing strategies and service meshes
• ▹Implementation of API security policies, rate limiting and WAF solutions
• ▹Monitoring experience with Grafana, Loki and OpenSearch, and consumer auto-scaling with Keda and Burrow
• ▹English at B2 level minimum

Nice to have

• ▹Use of management tools such as Lenses or Kpow for Kafka
