Responsibilities

• ▹Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems
• ▹Collaborate with product management, design and analytics from ideation through risk/trade-off decisions
• ▹Proactively identify project, process, technology or business issues and lead in solving them
• ▹Support the operations and availability of the team's systems by creating and monitoring metrics, and supporting on-call efforts
• ▹Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards, advocating for them through writing and tech talks
• ▹Help develop talent on the team through feedback, guidance and leading by example

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably using declarative UI frameworks like React Native
• ▹Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, or a track record with similar languages and learning new technologies
• ▹Experience defining a technical plan for delivering a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design
• ▹Proficiency making significant changes in a large codebase, with tools and practices that enable doing so safely
• ▹Demonstrated ownership of your own growth, proactively seeking feedback from team, manager and stakeholders
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication skills
