Lead Software Engineer – Spain Remote (Barcelona)

Responsibilities

• ▹Be part of a remote, motivated team delivering impactful work for customers
• ▹Work with product managers and engineers to shape the roadmap, technical design, feature refinement and delivery
• ▹Leverage AI-native coding practices and tools to accelerate development workflows
• ▹Write code in a modern stack: C# + .NET Core backend, React.js + TypeScript frontend
• ▹Review code, build and run automated tests, deliver documentation, promote technical standards
• ▹Work within agile and iterative software development practices
• ▹Influence team performance and growth through mentorship and collaboration

Requirements

• ▹Proficiency in an object-oriented language (C# or JavaScript), including data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• ▹Strong focus on testability, observability and maintainability to safely guide AI-assisted development
• ▹Passion for collaborative engineering and pair programming
• ▹Openness to receiving peer feedback and implementing it
• ▹Strong drive to continuously learn and advance professional skills
• ▹AI-native mindset, leveraging advanced AI tools to accelerate development and automate routine tasks
• ▹Professional fluency in English, verbal and written

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with creating and consuming RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture
• ▹Experience with Agile development methodologies
• ▹Experience with cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container-based deployments
• ▹Exceptional collaboration skills and enthusiasm for cross-cultural teamwork
