Threat Research Engineer (Client Side)

Responsibilities

• ▹Internal bot detection red teaming: challenging detection mechanisms and building automation tools
• ▹Proactively detecting bypasses by analyzing modules and potential misconfigurations on customer websites
• ▹Improving client-side bot detection by adding new signals to scripts for browser fingerprinting
• ▹Improving JavaScript code security and resilience through obfuscation techniques
• ▹Collaborating with the mobile team to collect new signals for mobile bot detection
• ▹Collaborating with other threat research team members on new detection approaches
• ▹Sharing results via meetups, conference talks, academic papers and blog posts

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience programming in JavaScript
• ▹Strong computer science background
• ▹Experience dealing with bots or malware
• ▹Strong knowledge of web and network infrastructures
• ▹Strong knowledge of web client-side technologies
• ▹A hacker spirit
• ▹Good oral and written communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience at a cybersecurity company
• ▹WebAssembly experience
• ▹Compiler experience
