Launchmetrics' Data Platform team is hiring a Data Engineer to build and grow the Databricks-based Lakehouse across the Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture. The role is central to customer retention, data trust and new AI-driven features.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design and build batch/near-real-time data pipelines with PySpark and Databricks
- ▹Architect Delta Lake table schemas (partitioning, liquid clustering)
- ▹Collaborate with product, QA and data engineering teams
- ▹Own code quality: structured PySpark jobs, unit tests (pytest)
- ▹Continuously improve pipeline reliability and cost efficiency
- ▹Participate in cross-pod initiatives
Requirements
- ▹Python, PySpark, TypeScript
- ▹Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Delta Sharing
- ▹AWS (S3, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, ECS, Step Functions)
- ▹MySQL experience
- ▹Git/GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
