Senior Analytics Engineer – Data & AI

Responsibilities

• ▹Gather, analyze and challenge business needs, then design analytics solutions
• ▹Design, develop and industrialize data transformation flows with DBT on modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric)
• ▹Build and maintain robust analytics data models (datamarts, semantic layer, business metrics, dimensions and facts)
• ▹Ensure data quality, reliability and traceability through tests, control rules and automated documentation
• ▹Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports and analytics applications, focusing on business relevance, performance and user experience
• ▹Define and document key performance indicators (KPIs)
• ▹Use generative AI to accelerate development (generating and optimizing SQL, DBT flows and DAX code, automating documentation, speeding up data quality tests)
• ▹Promote Analytics Engineering best practices: versioning, CI/CD, governance, data quality, observability, FinOps

Requirements

• ▹Engineering or university degree (Bac+5 level)
• ▹At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, including significant experience combining data visualization and data transformation (analytics engineering)
• ▹Confident command of DBT and Python
• ▹Strong SQL skills and knowledge of analytics modeling principles (Data Warehouse, Data Marts, dimensional approach, business metrics, semantic layer)
• ▹Knowledge of Analytics Engineering industrialization practices: Git, CI/CD, observability, data quality, automated testing and deployment
• ▹Excellent Power BI skills: tabular modeling, DAX, Power Query, performance optimization
• ▹Knowledge of cloud and the modern data ecosystem: medallion architectures, Lakehouse, cloud Data Warehouse, experience with Azure, AWS or GCP, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or Google BigQuery
• ▹Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• ▹Good professional English in an international context (B2 minimum)

• ▹Knowledge of Tableau, Qlik or Looker
• ▹Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) certification
• ▹Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) certification
• ▹DBT Analytics Engineer certification
