Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, mentor and build a team of Enterprise Application Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, performance management and career development
• ▹Act as the player-coach and most senior technical expert: unblock engineers, lead complex architecture reviews and troubleshoot the hardest issues
• ▹Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for enterprise application and integration architecture
• ▹Act as primary technical consultant and liaison for business leaders (Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations)
• ▹Manage vendor relationships, software licenses and the application stack budget, and keep evaluating new tools
• ▹Manage the entire Google Workspace ecosystem (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Groups), defining and enforcing policies, rules and OU structures
• ▹Lead the architecture and administration of the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and guide the team in building complex workflows
• ▹Design, build and manage a SaaS Management Platform (SMP) to centrally manage all SaaS applications
• ▹Analyze license utilization to find cost savings, license reclamation and contract consolidation opportunities
• ▹Partner with Information Security and Enterprise Risk Management on technical reviews of new SaaS applications
• ▹Serve as the top-level architect of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, designing and running the central Identity Provider (IdP)
• ▹Develop, deploy and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies following the principle of least privilege
• ▹Build and manage automated Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) workflows
• ▹Architect, build and maintain integrations between core business systems, ensuring data reliability with error handling and monitoring

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• ▹7+ years in Enterprise Systems or Application Engineering with a focus on automation and integration
• ▹At least 3 years in a people management or technical lead role
• ▹Deep architectural and administrative experience with Google Workspace in a large-scale (1000+ user) environment
• ▹Deep architectural and administrative experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence), designing complex workflows
• ▹Expert-level, hands-on architectural experience with Okta (or a similar major IdP): Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management (SCIM), complex policies, SAML/OIDC integrations
• ▹Architectural and administrative experience with Microsoft Active Directory in a large-scale (1000+ user) environment
• ▹Hands-on experience building and managing integrations, REST APIs and automating IT processes with scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
• ▹Strategic thinking that connects IT initiatives to business outcomes such as revenue growth, cost reduction and risk mitigation
• ▹Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executives
• ▹Passion for mentoring engineers and a proven track record of developing talent
