Senior SAP / ABAP Developer for Innovative Banking Solutions

Responsibilities

• ▹Create and extend cutting-edge banking software solutions built on ABAP and further SAP technologies
• ▹Develop innovative features for the banking product portfolio based on modern capabilities (e.g. Virtual Accounts)
• ▹Translate business requirements into technologically advanced software design and modern architectures
• ▹Develop first-rate standard software using an agile approach, in close collaboration with the product team and international banking customers
• ▹Ensure top product quality through robust testing and QA
• ▹Support customers in software adoption with customer-centric services

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years of ABAP / SAP development
• ▹Proven technical proficiency in relevant technologies (such as OData/REST, CDS/HANA, Restful Application Programming, HANA DB)
• ▹Understanding of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into suitable software designs and architectures
• ▹A passion for banking processes and products
• ▹Prior experience in agile setups and methodologies
• ▹An entrepreneurial spirit, start-up mindset, dedication to learning and a service-oriented approach
• ▹Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• ▹Serbia-based; candidates willing to relocate to Serbia are also welcome

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with business processes and products in transactional banking, payments/cards or regulatory reporting
• ▹Knowledge of SAP banking products (Deposits Management, Payment Engine, Banking Services, Transactional Banking)
• ▹Full-stack experience with HTML 5, SAP UI5 and FIORI application design
• ▹Pronounced QA/test automation skills
• ▹Familiarity with SAP code shipping methodologies
• ▹An academic degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or equivalent
