Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and support one or two teams of 6-8 engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• ▹Drive engineering and operational excellence by setting high standards for system performance, quality, and maintainability
• ▹Influence architectural decisions in partnership with Tech Leads and Staff Engineers
• ▹Own delivery outcomes and collaborate with Product, Data, and Marketing to shape objectives and align execution
• ▹Coach, mentor, and develop the team, helping engineers and Tech Leads grow their careers
• ▹Continuously improve ways of working, decision-making processes, and product team maturity

Requirements

• ▹1-3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, confident managing a team of 5-8 engineers, with a track record of growing individuals and shipping impactful products
• ▹Outcome-oriented: focused on solving real user and business problems, keeping the team aligned to measurable goals
• ▹Technical depth: background in backend or frontend engineering, experience with distributed systems
• ▹Committed to delivery: takes ownership of execution, knows when to escalate or unblock, balances delivery speed with quality
• ▹Invests in engineering excellence: promotes solid design, thoughtful code, and sound decision-making
