Engineering Lead - Embedded Finance

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain the team's services in a hands-on capacity
• ▹Mentor and support engineers in the team in their growth and development
• ▹Support the team in technical decisions to build reliable, scalable products
• ▹Work closely with a Product Manager to own and drive the team's direction and product plans
• ▹Collaborate with teams across Wise to expand the functionality offered to partners
• ▹Own the team's services and product, pushing best practices

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Java (or similar stacks)
• ▹Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
