Entry Level Technical Field Advisor

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage, perform, coordinate and monitor Steam Power site activities
• ▹Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration
• ▹Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services
• ▹Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance
• ▹Perform administrative functions: writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, job status reports, time and expense sheets
• ▹Sign off on changes implemented
• ▹Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment
• ▹Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and future outages

Requirements

• ▹Continuous employment is dependent on successful completion of formal training provided by General Electric
• ▹Position available remotely within the US, with 80% annual travel (primarily within the US, occasionally to Canada)
