Responsibilities

• ▹Build the foundational agent infrastructure: orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation, and the trust layer for agent autonomy.
• ▹Ship the first agent feature and get familiar with the architecture and tool ecosystem within the first month.
• ▹Identify and start fixing the biggest reliability or performance gap.
• ▹Launch a brand new agentic feature to tens of thousands of developers within 3 months.
• ▹Own a core infrastructure area such as orchestration, the eval pipeline, the tool framework, or the trust/permissions layer.
• ▹Participate in the on-call rotation and incident response.

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience shipping production systems.
• ▹Hands-on experience building with LLMs: tool use, structured output, context management, evaluation, orchestration, not just prompting.
• ▹Strong backend fundamentals, building systems that are reliable, observable, and secure.
• ▹Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage product inside a growth-stage company.
• ▹Self-directed: able to figure out what needs to be built and ship it.

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs specifically.
• ▹Experience building agents that other people use.
• ▹Experience with evaluation and observability frameworks such as Langfuse or Langchain.
• ▹Familiarity with subscription business models, app stores, or developer tools.
• ▹Experience building Slack integrations or other conversational interfaces.
• ▹Contributions to open-source AI/ML tooling.
