Responsibilities

• ▹Talk to users to understand their goals and challenges
• ▹Help customers design and optimize their Metabase implementation
• ▹Guide customers in extracting and transforming data and writing queries
• ▹Solve complex problems and troubleshoot customer issues
• ▹Collaborate with technical communicators to create educational materials
• ▹Serve as the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams

Requirements

• ▹Enjoyment of helping people and solving their problems
• ▹Strong technical background with 3+ years writing production code, administering systems, and/or managing databases
• ▹Strong database and SQL skills
• ▹Strong technical expertise in at least two of: building/troubleshooting web applications, managing infrastructure (Docker, AWS, GCP), or managing and optimizing databases

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Metabase or other BI tools
• ▹Experience working for an open-source product
• ▹Fluency in multiple languages
