Senior Engineering Manager, Tiger Cloud Apps

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, grow and mentor a team of engineers - owning hiring, performance management, career development and team health
• ▹Own the Console end to end - the UI customers use to operate the platform, including observability, user management and developer-experience features
• ▹Own the strategy and delivery of developer tooling alongside the Console, including the Tiger CLI and MCP integrations
• ▹Own billing end to end, from underlying services through the customer-facing experience
• ▹Set technical direction across a predominantly JavaScript and Go stack
• ▹Establish engineering practices, conventions and culture for a reorganizing, ramping-up team
• ▹Partner with Product, Design and other engineering leaders to turn a roadmap into shipped features
• ▹Write code hands-on as needed

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers or engineering teams
• ▹Track record of building and leading high-performing full-stack teams shipping customer-facing products
• ▹Strong technical depth in JavaScript/modern frontend, plus Go or comparable backend services
• ▹Experience owning complex customer-facing domains end to end - billing, observability, user/account management or developer-experience tooling
• ▹Proven ability to set culture, standards and direction during growth or reorganization
• ▹Strong product sense, balancing polish, velocity and reliability

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with CLIs, MCP, or building tooling for technical/developer audiences
