• ▹Manage a distributed team of engineers and its MLOps/Analytics portfolio
• ▹Organize team processes to help it reach its goals
• ▹Review code and lead architectural decisions
• ▹Mentor and grow direct reports
• ▹Represent Canonical's MLOps solutions at conferences

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record of software delivery
• ▹Professional Python development experience, ideally with open-source background
• ▹Understanding of the machine learning space and its challenges
• ▹Experience designing and implementing MLOps solutions
• ▹Exceptional academic track record

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and tools
• ▹Building automated machine learning solutions for the cloud
• ▹Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes)
• ▹Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• ▹Track record of open-source contributions
