Responsibilities

• ▹Own metric definitions and build the semantic layer powering AI-driven self-service in Hex
• ▹Govern what data gets exposed so non-data teams can confidently answer their own questions
• ▹Partner with product squads to turn vague operational pains into working data assets within days
• ▹Own the tables consumed by the product and the user-facing dashboards for sponsors, sites, and internal teams
• ▹Use AI to automate parts of the data work that don't need a human in the loop

Requirements

• ▹4+ years as an Analytics Engineer, or in a hybrid data engineer/analyst role with strong analytics engineering ownership
• ▹Strong dbt and warehouse modeling skills (BigQuery)
• ▹Track record of owning data products end to end: definition, shipping, measurable adoption
• ▹Genuine product mindset, starting from the user's problem rather than the SQL
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication with non-data stakeholders
