Full-Stack Developer

Sweden's e-Health Agency is looking for a full-stack developer with experience in Java and container-based technologies to join an agile team and help build new areas of the national digital health infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an agile team in close collaboration with analysts and subject-matter specialists, continuously delivering value
  • Apply test-driven development and test automation as a natural part of daily work
  • Share responsibility with the team for the quality of the code produced
  • Help build a new business area and create new components, with real influence over technical direction

Requirements

  • Higher education in IT, software or programming, or several years of relevant recent professional experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as a systems developer with Java as the main programming language
  • At least 2 years of experience developing with Quarkus, Spring Boot or another modern Java microservices framework
  • At least 2 years of experience where testing and test automation are an integrated part of the code's lifecycle management
  • At least 1 year of experience with container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift

Nice to have

  • Front-end development experience, e.g. with Vue.js
  • Experience publishing and contributing to open-source projects
  • Experience working with databases via JPA/Hibernate, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Development experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience with the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard or other interoperability standards
