Solution Architect, IT Department

Domstolsverket's IT department is looking for a solution architect to take a leading role in shaping the future IT landscape for the courts, working on architecture both strategically and operationally, and contributing to the adoption of AI and container-based platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solution architecture for new and further-developed systems
  • Ensure solutions follow target architecture, architectural principles and technical guidelines
  • Act as a technical sounding board for developers, team leads and other architects
  • Document architecture, dependencies, data flows and alternative solutions in an understandable way
  • Participate in architecture forums and collaborate with other authorities
  • Contribute to the introduction of new technologies such as AI and container-based platforms

Requirements

  • Higher education in IT or equivalent knowledge
  • Several years of documented experience in solution architecture or IT architecture in complex system environments
  • Ability to translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions
  • Experience with architecture documentation and modeling
  • Used to working closely with development teams and business representatives

About the company

Domstolsverket (the National Courts Administration of Sweden) supports the entire Swedish court system of around 80 courts, authorities and boards, with approximately 7,600 employees in total. Its head office is in Jönköping, with local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Umeå, employing around 400 people.
