IT Security Specialist – Must (Swedish Military Intelligence)

Responsibilities

• ▹Review and assess IT systems and IT security-enhancing products based on system documentation and applicable regulations, evaluating security capability, threats and risks
• ▹Formulate and write the documentation required for reviews and assessments of IT systems
• ▹Visit units and participate in security inspections at various locations
• ▹Provide support and guidance on IT security matters
• ▹Work proactively on regulatory changes and guidelines across technology areas
• ▹Follow applicable laws, regulations and ethical principles to protect information at a high security level

Requirements

• ▹Several years of documented experience in IT and information security, with solid technical IT competence
• ▹Good technical understanding, as the role largely involves analyzing governance documents and technical review reports
• ▹Deep knowledge of information security, including evaluating vulnerabilities and proposing protective measures
• ▹Academic degree, or competence and experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• ▹Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
• ▹Good collaboration skills
• ▹Driving license for a passenger car

Nice to have

• ▹Good knowledge of IT architecture
• ▹Current or former employment within the Armed Forces, and knowledge of the authority and the regulations governing the Armed Forces and total defense
