Data Center Development & Infrastructure Finance Lead

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead financial modeling for all new data center development projects (construction, power infrastructure, network buildout)
• ▹Own construction budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts and contingency tracking
• ▹Monitor project performance against budget/schedule, identify risks and mitigation plans
• ▹Model project-level returns (IRR, NPV, payback)
• ▹Develop and maintain the multi-year infrastructure and capacity roadmap
• ▹Own capacity models: supply, demand and utilization forecasting
• ▹Identify underbuild/overbuild capacity risks
• ▹Own the infrastructure cost model (power, networking, maintenance, depreciation)
• ▹Develop cost-per-compute/workload models and gross margin forecasts
• ▹Own infrastructure CapEx and COGS budgets
• ▹Deliver regular budget-vs-actual (BvA) analysis and recommendations to leadership
• ▹Deliver infrastructure insights for executive reviews and board materials

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• ▹7-10+ years in FP&A, infrastructure finance, investment banking or related roles, ideally in cloud/AI infrastructure, data centers, telecom, energy or industrials
• ▹Direct experience with CapEx planning, capital allocation, project/development finance, operating cost modeling
• ▹Extensive financial modeling and analysis expertise
• ▹Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills
• ▹Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software systems
• ▹Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ▹Team player with strong work ethic
• ▹Ability to work in ambiguity with limited direction
