Technical Lead – ITSM

Responsibilities

• ▹Start up and lead the technical work of a newly formed development team on the ITSM tool's development, configuration, integration and technical management
• ▹Own technical design, architecture and solution proposals
• ▹Support requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions
• ▹Quality-assure development, configurations, integrations and deliveries
• ▹Guide developers and contribute to methodology, standards and best practice
• ▹Take part in technical forums and management meetings, and liaise with the business, IT and suppliers
• ▹Ensure solutions meet information security, data protection, accessibility and maintainability requirements
• ▹Contribute to documentation, technical guidelines and handover to ongoing management

Requirements

• ▹At least 8 years of experience in IT development, technical management or platform development
• ▹At least 3 years of experience with ITSM tools (e.g. Service Desk Plus, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Helix, Ivanti, TOPdesk or similar), having handled the ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Configuration
• ▹Documented experience from at least 3 assignments involving technical leadership in development/management work, including integrations to other systems, 100+ users and multiple business areas
• ▹Documented experience of at least 3 years in quality assurance, covering both automated and manual testing
• ▹Documented experience of at least 3 years in maintainable solution design, including integrations and at least 100 users
• ▹Documented work experience of at least 2 years within public administration in larger organizations (at least 500 employees)
• ▹Documented experience of at least 2 years working with integrations between ITSM tools and other systems via APIs, web services or integration platforms
