Responsibilities

• ▹Operating and supervising Oracle database environments
• ▹Handling production incidents and troubleshooting
• ▹Performance monitoring and optimization
• ▹Running backup & recovery processes (RMAN)
• ▹Patch management and version upgrades
• ▹Participating in change management processes
• ▹Preparing and maintaining documentation
• ▹Collaborating with application operations and infrastructure teams
• ▹Participating in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Oracle database administration (enterprise environment)
• ▹In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database 11g / 12c / 19c
• ▹RMAN backup & recovery experience
• ▹Confident use of SQL
• ▹Linux / Unix system knowledge
• ▹Performance tuning experience
• ▹Ability to work independently in a production environment
• ▹Incident-handling experience

Nice to have

• ▹Oracle RAC and Data Guard experience
• ▹Exadata environment knowledge
• ▹Experience in an ITIL-based operating model
• ▹Experience in the financial / banking sector
• ▹Automation skills (shell scripting)
