Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze complex network problems in 2nd- and 3rd-level support and resolve them sustainably
• ▹Operate and further develop the IT and network infrastructure of the company's own data centers
• ▹Configure and operate routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in live production
• ▹Install and administer site-to-site and remote-access VPN connections for secure connectivity
• ▹Expand the data center infrastructure with a focus on performance, security, and high availability
• ▹Build out monitoring, including KPIs and alerts, and maintain reports for operations and audits

Requirements

• ▹Technical degree or comparable training, plus several years of network experience
• ▹Several years managing networks, ideally in data center environments, with Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, and F5
• ▹Applying the OSI model in design and troubleshooting; knowledge of BGP, MPLS, and EVPN/VXLAN
• ▹Secure administration of Linux and/or Windows systems and their integration into network solutions
• ▹Structured working style, clear coordination, and ownership of tasks
• ▹Confident English in meetings, discussions, and technical documentation
