Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement and operate a modern IPv6-based BGP fabric
• ▹Continuously evolve the network platform for AI and high-performance computing environments
• ▹Support integration of bare-metal Kubernetes clusters into the existing BGP fabric
• ▹Design, implement and operate firewall and load balancing solutions for the data center infrastructure
• ▹Contribute to building new data center locations and own the network integration
• ▹Automate recurring network processes and ensure effective monitoring of the infrastructure
• ▹Design, implement and operate high-performance InfiniBand fabrics for AI workloads
• ▹Analyse complex network incidents and ensure stable, highly available 24/7 operation
• ▹Help shape the future network architecture

Requirements

• ▹Several years of hands-on experience designing, building and operating modern data center networks
• ▹Solid knowledge of BGP-based fabric architectures and confidence working with IPv6
• ▹Experience with firewall and load balancing solutions in productive enterprise or data center environments
• ▹Structured, independent way of working, taking responsibility for critical infrastructure
• ▹English proficiency at least B2 level
• ▹EU citizenship or a valid German work permit
• ▹Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional travel

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with NVIDIA Spectrum switches and Cumulus Linux
• ▹Experience with NVIDIA Quantum switches and InfiniBand environments
• ▹Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• ▹Kubernetes experience, particularly with Cilium
• ▹Enthusiasm for modern AI, HPC and cloud infrastructure
