Quality Assurance Engineer – SAP Development (remote, Germany)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own and design holistic test strategies: automated tests, exploratory testing, UI, API and integration tests
• ▹Apply the shift-left principle, complemented by targeted shift-right approaches such as monitoring and observability
• ▹Work closely with product owners and developers across the whole agile process, from refinement to acceptance testing
• ▹Build and maintain test repositories and test data
• ▹Run regular regression tests
• ▹Drive QA process improvements, including AI-assisted testing approaches such as automated test case generation and self-healing tests
• ▹Build and continuously improve test automation frameworks
• ▹Share best practices and foster a quality-driven culture within the team

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a comparable software development role
• ▹ISTQB certification (at least Foundation Level)
• ▹Hands-on experience with automated UI and API testing
• ▹Test management experience: test repositories, test data management, regression testing
• ▹Familiarity with agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban) and a good understanding of software development processes
• ▹Analytical, structured, detail-oriented working style with strong communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in an SAP or Fiori environment
• ▹Basic SAP knowledge
• ▹Experience with performance or security testing
• ▹Familiarity with monitoring tools
• ▹Interest in AI-driven testing methods
• ▹Additional testing certifications
