IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, steer and implement IT projects focused on company-wide transformation and platform initiatives (e.g. cloud migrations, data center consolidations, rollout of central applications)
• ▹Define project goals, milestones, resources and timelines, and ensure that time, budget and quality targets are met
• ▹Lead interdisciplinary project teams and integrate and manage multiple external implementation partners in complex project settings
• ▹Ensure transparent information flow between business departments, IT, external partners and management stakeholders
• ▹Identify, assess and manage project, dependency and transformation risks, and derive suitable countermeasures
• ▹Prepare status reports, decision papers and management-level reporting tailored to the audience
• ▹Steer multiple parallel project tracks including dependencies, and ensure appropriate governance and decision-making structures
• ▹Take responsibility for planning and executing the transition into operations (e.g. cutover, go-live and hypercare phases)

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, business informatics or business administration
• ▹Several years of experience in IT project management, ideally leading complex, cross-functional transformation projects
• ▹Proven experience in at least one of the following project types: cloud migrations, data center transformation/consolidation, or rollout of company-wide platforms or central applications
• ▹Experience managing projects with multiple parallel workstreams, high organizational and technical complexity, and the involvement and management of external service providers
• ▹Experience building and applying project governance and reporting structures
• ▹Solid knowledge of classic and agile project management methods (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum)
• ▹Technical understanding of modern IT landscapes (e.g. cloud, platform and integrated system architectures)
