German Speaking IT Presales / Solution Advisor

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide technical and commercial presales support for sales opportunities, primarily for German-speaking customers
• ▹Coordinate vendors, including leading manufacturers such as Cisco, HPE and Dell
• ▹Support solution design with a clear focus on commercial fit, pricing structure and feasibility
• ▹Contribute to offer preparation, including solution descriptions, BOM logic and pricing, with awareness of cost drivers and margin
• ▹Translate sales and customer requirements into commercially viable IT solutions
• ▹Collaborate closely with Sales, Architects, Vendor Managers and Delivery teams
• ▹Participate in workshops, bid support and enablement activities

Requirements

• ▹Transferable experience in IT, for example from a customer service or internal sales role
• ▹Strong commercial understanding: pricing logic, cost drivers, margin awareness and commercial structures in IT offers
• ▹Solid IT knowledge (infrastructure, cloud, workplace and/or managed services)
• ▹Experience working with vendors or partners in a presales environment
• ▹Ability to balance technical feasibility with commercial requirements
• ▹Fluent German and English, written and spoken
• ▹Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working with enterprise or multinational customers
• ▹Knowledge of managed services or lifecycle services
• ▹Exposure to multi-vendor environments
• ▹Experience with CRM or quoting tools (e.g. Salesforce, CPQ solutions)
