Responsibilities

• ▹Own a large portion of a product and take projects end-to-end (product, design and engineering)
• ▹Research competitors, write product specs, create wireframes
• ▹Examples of past work: designing and building automated interview scheduling, building a generalized declarative filter architecture that compiles to SQL, and speccing/building a feature for signing offers entirely within Ashby
• ▹Talk to customers to understand requirements, decide on technologies, build prototypes, and integrate with the team into production

Requirements

• ▹Comfortable tackling any part of the technology stack, from frontend to infrastructure decisions
• ▹Experience with projects involving significant product and technical ambiguity
• ▹Ability to strike the right balance between speed and quality
• ▹Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• ▹Experience owning and leading projects independently, without relying on a tech lead to distribute tasks
