Engineering Manager - Marketplace

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop the Marketplace platform architecture from scratch
• ▹Implement backend services primarily using Go and SQL
• ▹Create and manage the lifecycle of artifacts, including OS and container images
• ▹Develop and maintain robust APIs to power Marketplace features
• ▹Architect distributed systems focused on high scalability and microservices
• ▹Collaborate cross-functionally with Core Engineering and Product teams
• ▹Participate in defining technical specifications and product roadmaps
• ▹Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation
• ▹Recruit, mentor, and lead future members of the Marketplace engineering team
• ▹Balance hands-on development with strategic engineering management

Requirements

• ▹Strong proficiency in Go and experience with Python
• ▹Solid experience in SQL and database management
• ▹Expertise in Linux system administration and internals
