Endpoint Support Engineer

Backend Developer • Vor Ort • Vollzeit • 📍 Bengaluru

We're looking for an Endpoint Support Engineer who is the first point of contact for all IT issues (Jira, chat, email) across Windows and macOS, and who also owns device lifecycle, endpoint security operations, and networking for the Bangalore office.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all IT issues, triaging and resolving within SLA (Jira, chat, email), escalating only when warranted, across Windows and macOS
  • Document work performed
  • Own device lifecycle from procurement to decommission, including PC and Mac laptop refresh and accurate inventory
  • Coordinate global hardware procurement with suppliers and Finance
  • Ensure accounts, devices, and access are ready before new hires' start dates; revoke access on the last day of employment; handle mid-cycle moves and reallocations
  • Run day-to-day wireless network operations for the Bangalore office, coordinate with vendors, escalate when it warrants it
  • Support planned infrastructure upgrades (firewall, UPS, access points)
  • Integrate Defender policies, app controls, and compliance baselines into MDM
  • Triage alerts across anti-malware, EDR, and app whitelisting tools; decide what gets escalated versus resolved
  • Bridge between endpoint tooling and the SOC — investigation handoffs and analyst reviews
  • Maintain scripts for endpoint discovery, deployment, and reporting; own runbooks and standards
  • Build working expertise in anti-malware operation and indicators of compromise

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or endpoint engineering
  • Solid troubleshooting across Windows 11 and macOS
  • Hands-on MDM experience — Hexnode, Intune, Jamf, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID and user account management
  • Jira Service Management or a comparable ticketing system
  • Networking fundamentals: WiFi, TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS
