Responsibilities

• ▹Build and lead a high-performing team: hire, coach, and grow DSAs to guide customers to production success across data, AI, and ML workloads
• ▹Accelerate path to production: remove blockers and streamline onboarding
• ▹Maintain technical excellence: keep the team ahead of the curve on Databricks and the broader data/AI ecosystem, continuous learning and certifications
• ▹Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services to build integrated customer growth plans
• ▹Champion operational rigor: tracking, forecasting, and communicating workload progress, usage growth, and customer health
• ▹Serve as technical sponsor for select accounts, engaging tech leads and executives on customer success strategy
• ▹Contribute to the DSA practice: drive consistency, scalability, and innovation across the organization

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Architecture, Field Engineering, or similar, data/AI focus), including 3+ years leading technical teams
• ▹Experience with cloud-based Lakehouse architectures, guiding customers through migrations and modernization
• ▹Proven track record accelerating workloads to production and sustaining success on cloud-native platforms
• ▹Deep understanding of distributed data systems and cloud-native platforms for complex architectural discussions
• ▹Hands-on experience in SQL and an OOP language (Python, SQL, or Scala preferred), code reviews, and architecture design sessions
• ▹Expertise in data and AI domains: Analytics, Data Warehousing, ETL, Streaming, and/or ML/AI productionization
• ▹Strong communication and executive presence; trusted advisor to technical leaders and C-level stakeholders
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• ▹Willingness to travel up to 30%

• ▹Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
