Staff Software Engineer - Consumer Revenue

Responsibilities

• ▹Accelerate growth of existing revenue streams and lay groundwork for new monetization across Nitro, Shop, Boosting, and User Identity
• ▹Own complex initiatives end-to-end, partnering with Product and Design
• ▹Drive technical alignment across systems and products with other Staff Engineers
• ▹Advise leadership on critical technical considerations and strategic planning
• ▹Lead full-stack engineering work across Web, Android, and iOS, setting the technical bar
• ▹Rapidly prototype new features and synthesize insights through experimentation

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of software engineering experience leading large, high-impact initiatives
• ▹Full-stack proficiency: expert in React/React Native with solid Python backend skills (web: React/TypeScript, mobile: React Native plus Kotlin/Objective-C/Swift, backend: Python)
• ▹Strong product sense and empathy for users
• ▹Technical leadership translating ambiguous goals into executable roadmaps
• ▹Ownership mentality, comfortable with ambiguity
• ▹Holistic, first-principles problem solving
• ▹Understanding of React and client-server performance optimization

Nice to have

• ▹Growth and monetization experience with revenue-generation or engagement systems
• ▹Track record of driving impact through structured experimentation
• ▹Experience optimizing consumer-facing applications at scale
