Java Backend Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Developing robust backend components and future-proof APIs based on Java
• ▹Designing and implementing modular software architectures with OSGi
• ▹Designing, implementing and optimizing relational database structures using JPA/Hibernate
• ▹Maintaining and improving build and release processes with Maven and Eclipse Tycho
• ▹Contributing to the end-to-end delivery of new features, working closely on the Java-based user interface

Requirements

• ▹Completed university/university of applied sciences studies in computer science, or an HTL degree with relevant professional experience
• ▹Solid Java development skills, experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with OSGi, Eclipse RCP, Maven and Eclipse Tycho
• ▹Good understanding of software architecture, API design and dependency injection
• ▹Interest in industrial and energy automation topics
