Responsibilities

• ▹develop, enhance and maintain web applications and web services
• ▹cover the entire software development lifecycle, from software architecture design through implementation and unit testing to build and deployment
• ▹design technically high-quality solutions together with the product owner, with a focus on secure coding and maintainability
• ▹maintain and support existing software modules alongside new development
• ▹work on both frontend and backend development depending on project needs

Requirements

• ▹solid technical IT education (HTL, FH or university)
• ▹relevant professional experience in software development appropriate to the role
• ▹ideally deep know-how in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate, plus experience with modern web technologies (Angular, HTML5/CSS3 or Node.js)
• ▹good SQL knowledge and relational data modeling, with experience working with relational databases
• ▹experience in J2EE development and using web services (preferably SOAP, REST)
• ▹routine use of tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, npm, JIRA and Confluence

Nice to have

• ▹knowledge of agile development methods
• ▹willingness to undergo a security check under §55 of the Security Police Act
