Robotics Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, and implement software systems for robotics applications, including navigation and aerial robotics systems
• ▹Write clean, efficient, well-documented code in C++ and Python
• ▹Integrate and calibrate sensors (e.g. LiDAR, cameras, IMUs)
• ▹Process, analyze, and interpret sensor data for real-time decision-making and control
• ▹Implement algorithms for sensor data processing
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test robotic hardware and software systems
• ▹Work with customers and external stakeholders to understand requirements
• ▹Optimize system performance and ensure robust, reliable operation
• ▹Debug and troubleshoot system issues

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• ▹5+ years of experience in robotics software development
• ▹Proficiency in C++ and Python, with strong OOP and software design pattern knowledge
• ▹Extensive experience with sensor data processing (calibration, filtering, fusion)
• ▹Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS
• ▹Knowledge of SLAM, path planning, and computer vision algorithms is a plus
• ▹Strong problem-solving skills, working both independently and collaboratively
• ▹Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with flight controllers (Ardupilot, PX4)
• ▹Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to robotics
• ▹Hands-on hardware integration and prototyping experience
• ▹Understanding of control systems and kinematics
