Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) at the intersection of agentic AI and biomedical data
• ▹Contribute to product architecture for scalable scientific computing, data processing, and AI engineering use cases
• ▹Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, researchers, and data scientists to understand and serve their needs
• ▹Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and security practices
• ▹Participate in incident response to ensure high availability and reliability
• ▹Translate internal stakeholders' (engineers, researchers, product teams) needs into platform solutions
• ▹Build and lead a high-performing platform engineering team, coaching and mentoring team members

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of software engineering experience at a leading tech/AI startup or scale-up, with proven experience leading an internationally distributed engineering team
• ▹Proven ability to manage up, handle conflicting priorities, and drive alignment in complex, fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environments
• ▹Experience with Python or Go
• ▹Managing cloud infrastructure as code (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Terraform and Kubernetes
• ▹Strong Docker experience
• ▹Experience in architectural design of complex systems, especially at data scale
• ▹Demonstrated commitment to quality and software engineering processes (observability, security)
• ▹Full professional proficiency in English
