Director, Technical Consultant

Lead Ramp's entire post-sales Technical Consultant organization, driving onboarding, activation and long-term success of customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead Ramp's full Technical Consultant function, guiding professional development and performance culture
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Product and Partners on integration development
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management leaders on product adoption
  • Support advanced technical and accounting implementations for Sales and Post-Sales teams
  • Develop strategies to improve customer engagement, increase renewal rates and identify upsell opportunities
  • Maintain technical assets and an internal knowledge base with Product Marketing and Product Operations
  • Provide strategic input to product development based on customer feedback and market trends

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture or similar customer-facing roles
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams in a SaaS or fintech environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in IdP, HRIS and/or ERP solutions
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong skills in engineering, system design and technical specification writing

  • Expertise in accounting systems, controllership needs and finance/accounting workflows
