Responsibilities

• ▹Ship new, unique, high-visibility technical content consistently — the majority of the role
• ▹Design and run automated research and content production workflows using agentic AI tools, reducing time-to-publish without sacrificing quality
• ▹Find credible sites and information aggregators to widen distribution
• ▹Identify topics the Baseten ICP cares about via external and internal data
• ▹Create data-informed, long-form content to solidify authority in the inference space
• ▹Codify the latest SEO and AEO techniques and build automated pipelines to optimize content

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on experience as a developer in at least one of: Python, JavaScript, SQL
• ▹Experience or interest in GTM automation tools like Retool, Zapier, n8n, AirOps, or similar
• ▹Strong written and verbal communication; can explain complex technical concepts in an interesting, compelling way
• ▹A strong, credible point of view on the topics AI/ML engineers care about and the tradeoffs within the stack
• ▹Comfort with ambiguity and an extreme bias toward ownership
• ▹An experimental, data-driven mindset — clear outcomes, fast iteration based on signals and intuition
• ▹Moves fast, ships content, and iterates based on what's learned
• ▹Applicants must submit a favorite piece of their own relevant writing (blog post, technical tutorial, or similar) — applications without one will not be considered

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, inference platforms, or LLM tooling
• ▹Background supporting open source developer tooling
• ▹Prior experience tinkering with open source frontier models
• ▹Keeps up to date with the latest AI trends and news
• ▹Understanding of SEO/AEO best practices
• ▹Familiarity with using generative AI for topic research or content production
