Responsibilities

• ▹Build and iterate on agentic LLM systems — retrieval pipelines, structured tool use, chained LLM workflows
• ▹Contribute to evaluation frameworks measuring accuracy, robustness, and clinical reliability
• ▹Contribute to backend and frontend systems across Abridge
• ▹Help prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and open-source orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• ▹Contribute to monitoring and observability systems keeping LLM workflows healthy in production
• ▹Collaborate across ML, infrastructure, product, and clinical teams

Requirements

• ▹A degree in CS or a related field, or equivalent experience (projects, bootcamp, open source welcome)
• ▹Hands-on GenAI experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, or hackathons
• ▹Familiarity with LLM orchestration concepts (prompt chaining, tool use, retrieval), even without production experience
• ▹AI tooling is already part of how you work — writing, debugging, learning faster, and knowing when to trust vs. verify
• ▹Curiosity about model evaluation, failure modes, and what makes an LLM system reliable
