IT System Architect – Logistics (WMS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Strategic conception, selection and future-proof development of global WMS architectures to handle maximum load conditions
• ▹Analyze complex logistics processes and translate them into scalable, highly available software structures
• ▹Steer external IT service providers and hold overall technical leadership of international system rollouts
• ▹Ensure maximum stability and failover safety of the material-flow control system and the overarching IT infrastructure

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in business informatics, computer science or logistics
• ▹Proven, multi-year experience in software engineering and architecture of logistics/database systems (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL)
• ▹Auditable training and implementation record with leading enterprise WMS platforms (e.g. SAP EWM, Manhattan or comparable)
• ▹Valid IT project management certification (e.g. ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2 or Agile Scrum Master)
