Responsibilities

• ▹Act as lead developer for a set of Power BI-based reports giving fact-based transparency on the ALDI DX Release and Test Management team's operations
• ▹Engage with stakeholders such as release managers, test coordinators, directors and senior management
• ▹Provide reports with detailed hourly operational data, aggregated managerial status and tactical release-on-release comparisons
• ▹Develop metrics and KPIs so the team can continuously improve and validate the impact of its measures
• ▹Take part in design and technical discussions, coaching team members in data engineering and Power BI development
• ▹Liaise with report stakeholders and the technical teams responsible for the reporting platform and data sources

Requirements

• ▹Practical experience with M365 tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• ▹Advanced skills in writing and reading MSSQL queries (window functions, UNION, JOIN, aggregate functions, complex WHERE clauses, CTE)
• ▹Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric AND/OR Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep Builder
• ▹Experience with data lake technologies: EDLAP, Databricks, Satelite
• ▹Ability to create and maintain basic table structures
• ▹Solid understanding of data types and their appropriate use
• ▹Background in data analytics or data engineering
• ▹Experience with agile delivery methodology
• ▹Good command of written and spoken English
• ▹Experience with tools such as OpenText ALM, Tricentis qTest, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, ServiceNow
• ▹Initial experience in project, release and/or test management and ITIL processes
