Operational Test Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan and coordinate test preparation and execution for assigned projects and demands across release types (Enterprise Releases, Agile Releases)
• ▹Define test concepts and test plans that form the basis for test case creation and SIT execution
• ▹Steer and monitor test deliverables: test case quality, test data adequacy, execution coverage and adherence to timelines
• ▹Provide transparent, fact-based test status reports to project leads and release managers
• ▹Monitor test KPIs and SLAs such as execution progress, pass/fail rates and entry/exit criteria compliance
• ▹Facilitate defect triage meetings for assigned streams to drive timely resolution
• ▹Identify improvement opportunities in testing processes and contribute to their implementation

Requirements

• ▹Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise across multiple stakeholders, teams and service providers
• ▹Solid experience with test management tools (e.g. ALM, Jira/Xray or comparable)
• ▹Experience with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau or comparable)
• ▹Good command of written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or higher)
• ▹Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
• ▹Experience with ERP environments or end-to-end business process testing
• ▹Experience steering external test service providers
• ▹ITIL v4 practitioner: Change Enablement, Release Management processes
• ▹SAFe awareness: PI Planning, Agile Release Trains, cross-team synchronisation
